Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Curaçao is in a huge economic crisis being mostly dependent on tourism. Due to this crisis, about half the population now falls below the poverty line. This puts an enormous pressure on the local foodbank, barely coping to feed all those in need.
The foodbank of Curaçao makes food packages for families in need. One standard food package contains about 25 products worth about $30. A lot of families in need don't even have a refrigerator so these packages contain a lot of cans and products with a long expiration date.
Please help us help them and donate whatever you can spare for DUSHI CURAÇAO. Every contribution will strictly go the local Foodbank. We will publicly post the total donation when the fundraiser is closed.
